Just when I built a community - if a small one - on Threads, I get suspended for no reason.

Just a warning - if anyone is considering ordering spices from a company called Flavor God - don’t.

I have an order pending for almost three weeks. The company is not responding to calls, texts, emails or online chats.

I have filed a complaint with the BBB. They are still advertising.

Well, well, well.
A reminder that Nancy Mace was a DEI admission.

The courts ruled that The Citadel couldn't exclude women from attending under the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment (the one that Donald Trump wants to eliminate).

So we’re now saying he should get off because his victim deserved it. How is this different from Rittenhouse? I guess it’s ok he got off, too. What a sick society we’ve become.

Reading the comments on this post shows how ageist some people are. It’s effectiveness and experience that should matter when discussing leadership roles, not age.

Connolly is one of the most effective legislators in Congress. We need leaders like him now.
AOC was on track to secure the votes to become the next ranking member of the House Oversight Committee.

Then Nancy Pelosi threw her weight around to secure the votes for 74 year-old Gerry Connolly, who announced he was diagnosed with esophageal cancer last month.

Nancy Pelosi needs to retire.

It’s ironic that those who are defending our democratic institutions the hardest are those who have benefitted the least, while those trying to tear them down are those who have benefitted the most.

The one thing I found on Threads that I never had on Twitter was engagement. I love following the big accounts, but they don’t really interact with us. We need to build a community of our own, too.

I want to follow as many people on here who want to engage and I’ll follow you back. Promise.

I’m going to spend most of my weekend reading Eleanore of Avignon by Elizabeth DeLozier and drinking pumpkin chai. I’ll be making Italian Wedding Soup for Saturday dinner and might even bake something.
