Rainy day = sound collecting.
I'm no professional when it comes to recording samples but the sound quality using a 32 bit float Zoom F3 coupled with Rode NTG 2 shotgun when compared to the Tascam DR40 I used to use is INSANE. I will never go back to anything with poor quality pre-amps.

I should fire the E5000 up more. It's a convoluted way to do things compared to modern sampling but it's a lot of fun and sounds beautiful.
