Yes, they are getting a lot of support and i read one of the boats has already been winched out of the hole that was created by the land slip. But they need ro be checked and back in water. There is a local lad that lived on a narrow boat roo and made videos.. can't remember his YT channel though.

to correct some boats... but others will probably have to be lifted out. It will probably take months for repairs to happen. Meanwhile that part of the canal is blocked off. I know one or two folks who live on narrowboats, luckily they weren't there.

it could be. The landslip was basically the canal embankment collapsed and all the canal water and soil went into a field next to it. The boats moored on top went into a hole created by the collapse. And other boats are stuck on the mud. Sounds like they might partially refill a part of the canal

It made it to the American news? I believe everybody is okay, nobody was injured. Some folks are temporarily homeless as their canal boats are stranded on or in what was the canal. There are plans to get them out and put them somewhere safe but it take a few days or more.. haven't seen how long

Yes, there is just do much of this fake AI, altered crap. Trying to find a video that actually contains the real maddow and what she actually says is getting difficult, as it is with other topics. It is Google's fault, if you report it they do nothing about it, as with their other software faults.

Interesting. I'm still on there because i keep hoping somebody will buy it off musk and make it better. I only visit now and again though because some folks, including UK political parties, haven't made the move to here.
