this is pretty neat, if you nest the steps for 11 using the 3x+1 algorithm you get this cool multiplying of 3 and adding 1 on either side all over ascending powers of 2

refined it a bit more and made this little thing any number of this form will reduce down to 1 if you follow the 3x+1 algorithm

refined my little number game from yesterday to this summation equation where n decides how many digits get doubled before carrying over, i’ve found n1 and n2. finding n3 might take a day or two. i am not certain i formatted my exponents right honestly though

made up a fun little number game where i make a decimal by doubling the last number and carrying over anything above the tens place and found this cool decimal that repeats itself indefinitely through this process, the other decimal i’ve found that works is “8/7”
