I very much like the Chinese app Xiaohongshu (rednote). I deleted Facebook along time ago, but I kept messenger because that is how I contact a lot of those old friends.

it's getting through I heard from a former big time MAGA/Christian nationalist friend this morning and he said, "we are boned". 400 million for war but nothing for food. feed the damn people.!! he is medically disabled I suspect he lost his benefits.

it is my observation that AI has made the entire Internet dumber and many businesses using it are looking stupid. I told a company I very much liked their product and I got a letter in response saying, "sorry we didn't live up to your expectations"🙄
