Recorded audio commentary on the day of its 35th Anniversary. Despite Hurt living up to his last name after reading Marlin’s book, truth is I still adore the movie without thinking about what happened later. Convertino’s score gets me every time and I will always be in love with Marlee!

Loved it in 1998 but eventually soured on it because of Gallo’s disgusting behavior in how he treated Ricci; he didn’t even credit her at the end! She described him as a “raving lunatic” and he called her an “ungrateful c--t" who was "basically a puppet. I told her what to do, and she did it." 😡

Starting 2025 off right: soon I shall be seeing Akira Kurosawa's Seven Samurai (1954) and The Brutalist (2024) both in same theater on same day. Both are approximately 215 minutes (provided former has an intermission) and 20 min between showings for total of 7 hours, 30 minutes! #FilmSky #Happy2025
