Guy is literally always on the trade block! Will be an asset to Detroit and wishing him the best.

Agreed. Now, there may be terms written in their agreement that the Mara’s have the right of first refusal to maintain their majority. But if he sells his 45% to Julia Koch? A whole new ballgame.

Classic Giants to be caught with their pants down. New regime, same story.

I'm a truther: Should be a snake draft (Mike 1, Mina 2/3, Mike 4/5, Mina 6/7, etc.) instead of (Mike 1, Mina 2, Mike 3, Mina 4).

With the former, the total "number" of points per draft pick is 264 per draftee. With the latter, Mina is saddled with 272 points rather than 256.

I don’t believe my eyes!

Don’t get any ideas there, Alex. You’re a Terrapin fan and there’s much, much more where that came from. And by “that” I mean, profound disappointment.

The offseason regimen for coaches really needs to include more sitting on the couch and playing Madden. Truly shocking stuff.

“Hi! It’s me, Brian Fitzpatrick. The bad man over there lacks moral clarity and so, naturally, I vote in favor of his agenda an overwhelming majority of the time.”

Ugh, guy is wearing a Springsteen hat. @brucespringsteen.net community firmly supportive of Mina and fellow prognosticators — especially Domonique Foxworth, all-time Terrapin.

We really have to drop the Joe Schoen botched the Saquon narrative. He wanted to sell him at the deadline the year before — Mara wouldn’t let him. Giants had no business paying $13 million or franchise tagging an RB when there was no OL/offensive infrastructure, and he knew that. He was right.
January 17, 2026 at 5:08 AM
I wonder why he interviewed in Tampa, then?
January 15, 2026 at 12:16 PM
Also a fan and respectfully: the most entertaining? I get the hire and knowing the Mara’s, totally unsurprised. But which part(s) is/are exciting to you? I’m really trying to get excited but lukewarm is as far as I can get.
January 15, 2026 at 11:58 AM
I feel like the only Giants fan who is down on the hire. The franchise having been mishandled for ~15 years means we have to hire safe — I get it. My gut says that the teams that hire Shula and Udinski (now or later) will find actual success, not just a raised floor.

May I ask how Steelers fans (read: you) feel about having passed on Dart at 21? A QB, sitting there at a time when it was evident Pittsburgh needed one, with a legitimate and high-upside skill set, requiring zero additional draft capital. It's not hindsight so much as wishing they took a shot.

Such a special year, such a special team.

What is our expensive, starting safety doing out there on *kickoffs* in Week 17?

A palate-cleanser, too, for Maryland graduates, given yesterday's episode! Connie is an all-time Terp.

Precisely right. And Willard is a Pitino disciple, no less! Must have missed Rick’s tweet in March.
