Hand in hand, Linus Patty and Charlie Brown dance around the base of the tree. Sitting smug at the top of the tree ...that aint no angel, that is Snoopy !!! The cartoon drawing is signed by Schulx, of course.

Their shoulders ars bare. Their face is stretched, looking up to our left. There is a light falling straight on to the uplifted face from above which almost bleaches the forehead and eyes; below the chin the neck is in dark shadow. Cheeks are grey in the penumbra. The eyes are shut, maybe because of the spotlight. Maybe not as there is an overall worried frown in their brow. The mouth is open - maybe yelling, maybe crying. Either way it is a face of torment and pain.
