When I was in high school in Oklahoma in the 70s, a local church had kids pass out cards at school with religious sayings and inviting other students to meetings. Kids got points for getting kids to call a hotline or come to services. Earn enough points and you got a free trip to 6 Flags.

I’m sure these companies were working their lobbyists. Oddly enough, however, while you would expect Delta to have significant pull with the Georgia reps, Sen. Ossoff did not flip.

The article mentions ICE is also leasing space in Hyattsville near DC. I don’t remember that area being heavily Hispanic, but nearby Takoma Park, Langley Park and Wheaton and other areas are. I fear Baltimore won’t be their only target.
