According to St. Paul, James was among those to whom Jesus appeared after rising from the grave, and he became leader of the Christians in Jerusalem for many years. In later life, he wrote the Epistle of James.

I was literally singing that to myself in the shower this morning after the MP recording ended 😂

Bible into "a language understanded of by the people," he never saw his work's completion. He was burned as a heretic in 1636. His work was finished by Miles Coverdale, and the completed Tyndale-Coverdale Bible was published in 1937.

It is customary in many parishes when a priest leaves to take a collection to acknowledge the gift of their ministry and to assist them with the transition. We will be collecting a purse for Tyler and his family.
