Advent began on 30th Nov as we enter Year A of the Church’s cycle. On 1st Dec, we lit the first purple candle, symbolising hope. On the second Sunday, it is lit again, along with a second purple candle for peace. Advent colours are purple for preparation and pink for joy. #WeAreStJames #faith

Savannah travelled to Birmingham to face a Y9 girl -11 months older. The opponent was a Box Cup champion with an impressive winning record. None of this fazed Savannah, she won every round & secured a unanimous decision victory.
