If/when third party developers contribute code to the project, those contributions will ONLY be available under the GPLv3 license. This means that over time, the GPL-licensed code may include more features than the non-GPL code.

As of today at least, both versions are in sync.

This also has nothing to do with it. Heaven forbid I accidentally hit tab while writing code after Copilot "helpfully" suggests new bugs to introduce.

To the contrary, the dead beg for nothing

It's also the plot of The Lorax

(The book and the 1972 cartoon, not sure about the more recent movie)

I have those automatically purged every 24 hours, and beam the ones I want to keep over to my laptop

My Samsung phone runs slow if I leave them open :(

3. Allow the user to optionally store all of these cookie preferences in their own cookie with, so that they don't need to be prompted again.

4. Show the user the actual cookie text so they know exactly what is being saved.

I feel like these should all be standard practice.

2. Only request permission for the specific features the user is trying to interact with. Of course, there will be an "accept all" button as well, but it will not be prominent and presented as the default. It will be more work to blanket accept cookies than to reject them.

I hate it so much 🫠

When I finally utilize cookies on my website, I am going to do at least four things different from everyone else:

1. Don't request cookies at all until the user actually does something that requires them. No annoying popups just for visiting.

I'd take the cash if it were actually given, but this is about as real to me as any other promise by that charlatan.

Not that my opinion of him would change one iota if he did deliver on this. It would be, after all, just the CRUMBS.

Real.

So you became a class traitor about it?

We don't have to be on the same side of this. You're coming at this from the right, and I was confused because I thought you were coming at this from the left. And in that case, I don't want to be on the same side.

Adieu.
