As someone who's definitely not a power user, I agree. I get a lot of mileage out of backing up stuff on HDDs. If it's stuff I don't need constant read and writing for, I've found it's perfect for my fat, slower drives

Depends on the genre yeah. I give way more leeway to Rpgs than action games, because they usually take longer to introduce all the systems or get the story going.
