DHS has shot 12 people during immigration enforcement operations since September:
Trump's DHS has shot 12 people during immigration enforcement operations since September. Here's what to know.
Federal agents have shot three people in Minneapolis in recent weeks, killing two U.S. citizens, Alex Pretti and Renee Good. Videos contradict the Trump administration's account of their deaths.

NYT is as complicit as current Dems or even Trump-loyal Republicans in this shitshow. Their ed board statements don't make up for their egregious both-sidesing for the past 10 years. Don't publish people like Ezra Klein or "moderate" neolib Brett Stephens and then we'll talk.
In @nytopinion.nytimes.com

“When the government kills, it has an obligation to demonstrate that it has acted in the public interest," writes the Times editorial board. "Instead, the Trump administration is once again engaged in a perversion of justice."

The NRA has come out denouncing this murder; too little too late for the gun lobby which has profited from the killing of innocent schoolchildren for my entire 30 year life. And not even close to undoing the victim-blaming culture it's fostered. See: any Black person murdered by police ever.
"Why is it so normal for law enforcement — those who are supposed to be keepers of law and order — to kill Americans? And why is the only question at the end of the day how much their victims deserved to die?"

This was posted 3 days ago, BEFORE 🧊 fatally shot *another* peaceful observer in Minneapolis. We've seen this coming. Dismantling the admin state was step 1 and they did that within weeks. More ppl need to wake up and face reality or we are unequivocally fucked. It's not alarmism, it's realism.

I don’t want to hear anything from an elected official unless it’s a plan to defund the DHS and impeach Noem, Bovino, etc. No texts. No emails. No talk about the economy. Step up or step off.
