Trump will control the OMB, which decides who gets paid and who doesn’t. I don’t see ICE not getting paid since they still want to traffic people. Trump will also fire the fed workers to “cut waste.” It’s a damned if you do, damned if you don’t. But it’ll all fall on the Republicans.

He was looking into running for governor, but now that’s being overshadowed by DeSantis’s wife’s consideration to run. I think he’s quietly planning something in FL, just not on a national level.

If anything…it may be like what’s happening to Matt Gaetz in FL. He resigned from his seat to accept a nom for a cabinet position. Lost the nom b/c of a scandal. But he’s still looking into running for governor for FL in 2026, and may even run as a state rep/senator.

Francis was wishy washy. He was on one side of an issue one day, and then the other side another day. I couldn’t keep following everything he has said. I will say he showed more empathy than previous popes, though…

I hope that is the case. Unfortunately, in FL we were gifted with Ashley Moody until 2026. I don’t have much faith the state will replace her with someone more decent.

I don’t think they were cowards. They were people who supported the actions. There’s even a guy standing up and clapping at the whole ordeal.

And therein lies the problem. This is why I don’t watch the news anymore. Every time I turn it on, they always have to show what Trump says, even when he wasn’t in office. I miss the days when politicians actually were politicians, not celebrities.

Okay, but from what I can remember, she never really elaborated her plans. It showed during the town hall debates to a crowd of blue collared workers in PA. I’m not saying she didn’t have a platform - she just didn’t emphasized it as much as how awful Trump would be as POTUS.
