Almost 2 weeks late, but I’ve finished my Halloween stitching project. Thankfully, spooky season lives eternally in my heart, and I have no idea how time works.

Was hoping to have this done by now, but I guess I’ll share it for #wipwednesday. While not complicated, this is a lot of stitching.

Never worked on red before, and am trying to think up other stuff that would look good on it. Have a few ideas.

My cross stitch project is progressing, but won’t be finished for a few more days. But I still wanted to post something on #halloween. So here’s another pair of cute pumpkins.

The stitching wouldn’t have been ready even if I hadn’t spent a few hours painting these.

So it’s black cat day, apparently. A good day to post my final #halloween bookmark. It’s always black cat day in my home; I have three. Is that Midnight, Blackberry, or Scarbles in the window?

Probably Scarbles. She has a kink in her tail.

I meant to post this yesterday, but the last 48 hours of my life has been “Great Googily Moogily, everything’s broken!” But this happy little guy is still smiling. So there’s that.

Sharing this today. This picture hangs in my living room, and I look at it every day. It is my grandfather and his brothers before coming home from WWII.

The nazis were the bad guys, still are today, and still will be tomorrow.

In other news, water is wet.

I’m not just a cross stitcher. Sometimes I muck about with polymer clay. Last year I made several of these little guys and gave them away. Decided to make some more; this is the only one that’s been painted. So far.

First #halloween project done. I know it’s not properly centered. I don’t know how I missed the middle.

More importantly, are the things coming out of the cauldron, or going into it? I’m too busy stitching my next bookmark to figure that out.

Guess I can’t post a wip of my bookmark, because it’s done. My grandkids decided his name is Cracklebones the Jellyfish, and I swear it made sense at the time.

Just because I finished something doesn’t mean I haven’t already started something new for #wipwednesday. I got some bookmark fabric a couple weeks ago and made something to fit it. This tiny hoop is challenging with my huge hands.

It’s called Fairy Teatime, because names are hard. The blond fairy’s hair is inspired by Magrat Garlick of DiscWorld, whose hair is described as a haystack in a gale.

Any suggestions as to what these gals are named? Like I said, names are hard.

I just found out it’s #worldcrossstitchday. So here’s something I found in a box last week. I made her over 15 years ago from my own original design. It’s destined to be a one-of-a-kind creation, as I’m pretty sure I’ve lost the pattern.
