Always a rush to blame the victims here, rather than the abusers.
The thing about the Republicans is you know you can never trust them. Dems turn on the love-bombing so you think they really mean it this time, and then they use you as a punching bag again. And then blame you for leaving.

We’re close in age, and I feel the same way. I used to think I was contrary, but now I recognize the Dems strategically abuse people like me, dangling hope and change to inspire us and then crushing us when they get in office.

There are clearly a lot of elected Dems who feel the same way. Which is why they never roll back the horrible damage he’s done. They approve in principle, they just don’t like his approach.

I think we have to starve the machine. Give to individual candidates, if you believe in them.

We surrendered medicine to algorithms some time ago. It is a rare clinician who independently assesses a patient with a willingness to consider the full scope of the patient’s health.
I would say to current providers: if you don’t want to be replaced, you need to bring real value to the table

It truly makes me sick. It’s like it’s just a game to them. And I guess we’re all NPCs.
Except we are real, live people, with hopes and dreams and families and friends. Hopes and dreams and lives and livelihoods that hang in the balance of their games.

Sure. Because the people who voted blue would in no way be disappointed with how they’re being represented right now.

I believe this; in fact, it’s the simplest explanation for what we keep seeing.
I don’t want to believe it, mind you. I really want there to be some other explanation. But I keep coming back to the obvious antagonism they have for their voters and their clear allegiance to corporate donors.

So dumb. But we’re supposed to believe they’re playing 4D chess.
I often wonder, if someone were trying to sabotage the Democratic movement from the inside, what would they be doing?
And sadly, it looks very much like the present.

Aww, and just like that, cue the reflexive “it’s your fault for not voting!” schtick
Well, guess what, buddy, I did vote. For Harris. Silly me, was I supposed to vote twice?

I believe this more and more every day. Every time I weaken and give them the benefit of the doubt, they reward me again with this kind of crap.
