Not necessarily! When was the last time you changed your needle? Have you done a good cleaning of any lint in the bobbin area, under the feed dogs, etc. and have you oiled where it needs (per the manual)?

😍 Oh my goodness-- I would be grateful for anything you are willing to share. I dabble in Illustrator and made a feeble attempt to figure this out, but did not get very far at all!

Ooooh.... I've been thinking that there's got to be a way to plot out these patterns in Illustrator! Do you have any tips you would be willing to share? I've been collecting the vintage Lutterloh books for ages.
