Take it from me, um Socken zu stopfen muss man nicht stricken können. Es gibt verschiedene Methoden. Wenn du möchtest, dass die geflickte Stelle aussieht wie nie kaputt gewesen empfiehlt sich Swiss Darning. Sonst Scotch Darning oder Webstopfen. Ich mach meist letzteres mit Mini-Webstuhl od. freihand

Whenever my brain is too tired I just return to this "pattern". You can expand and change the colours however you like, it's so simple.

Downside to Germany not celebrating Halloween is that the supermarkets go straight to christmas by the end of August. Calling it "autumn biscuits" does not change the fact, that Lebkuchen and Spekulatius mean christmas!

Soooo... maybe I DON'T have to buy extra desktops in order to build my cutting table. Maybe I'll just use the sideparts from the shelves we had to replace at work last winter 😃

And now everything is in the room it's supposed to be! At some point I'll turn the 2 2x4 Kallax shelves into a big cutting table (think ShannonMakes Huge Crafting Table). But for now I'm just super happy to see the antique sewing machine in the room and the sun on the new flooring 😃
