Community Organisation Who Brought Stirling's First Ever Pride To The City in 2024.

Moving Forward To Make It An Annual Event!
It shows clear intent that they believe anti-trans campaigning should be rewarded and celebrated.

We will not stand for this. As such, we will not work with The Herald or Scottish Power. Any requests for their attendance at Stirling Pride events will be refused including participation in marches.

For Women Scotland, have been at the core of the anti-trans lobby for a number of years and their actions are causing enormous harm to trans and non-binary people across the UK.

The decision by The Herald to present them with this award is not a neutral decision.

Nicola Meighan is an arts writer and broadcaster who presents Friday Afternoons on BBC Radio Scotland - where she's interviewed Dolly Parton, Kylie Minogue and Joan Collins - and she also hosts Scottish Arts and Culture podcast A Kick Up The Arts. She grew up and lives in Stirling.
