2nd exodus: I grew up in the Southern Baptist Cult. Experienced lots of sermons on sin. It is a faith based in fear. My 1st exodus took place in my early 20s. Many years later, I would find myself in a progressive church. It directed me back to the God who is truly love. But then many “Christians”..

“queer in red….but blue sky:” I live in the ruby red state of Alabama. Grew up indoctrinated by evangelicals. But escaped. My posts will be words of encouragement for all marginalized..particularly encouraging for the LGBTQIA+ community that often feels alone.

The MAGA movement is the most unholy, self-righteous, hypocritical grouping of people centered around their common hate of the “other.” They may have MAGA….but we have Gaga. Little monsters, put your paws in the air, and get ready to organize and fight in 2025!

First post on blue sky. I hope this will be a positive community that values truth and kindness. I hope that it will be a safe place for the marginalized that MAGA intends to further marginalize. May we speak truth to power. May community gather here in unity against corruption and injustice.
