So for a Greek to achieve that hyggelig you need a home, a hearth, people you love around you, subdued natural light and FOOD. Good food, you can have everything else for the perfect recipe for happiness (momentaneous as it might be) but if you drop a bag of mcds on the table POOF magic gone

Now it might diverge A LOT in tonal values from hygge (white walls are not cozy thank you) but lighting wise it is very similar to the fireplace light hygge loves.
And θαλπωρή might be more social in aspect, like the Dutch one but it is mainly in the house like the Danish.

There is a similar word in Greek for example "θαλπωρή" which is mistakenly translated as warmth. It's not just warmth. It's the warmth of the hearth,surrounded by loved ones preferably when it's downpouring.
