Platinum 341 Twisted Metal 4 (PS5)
What I learned: This game just feels like theft of many Vigilante 8 2nd Offense mechanics, it plays really bad. But the levels? I loved the design and all the little secrets

Been doing bingo cards now for a decade, only ever got a bingo once. Tomorrow will be no different but it will keep me interested during slower parts of the direct.

The Gameboy version just goes straight into the fights, it does offer you a bit of an easier time using moves but it still is the jankfest you know from the 16 bit systems. It might be shorter though. #Beat2025

#27 Rushing Beat (SNES)
If it weren't for an entire stage dedicated to throwing guys off a roof and the 'rushing' mode where you just throw people into the next county this would be a very generic beat em up. #Beat2025

#26 Monster Hunter Wilds (PS5)
I am appreciative of the low rank handhold storyline to help new players because let me tell you World beat me up and was too confusing for a good 60 hrs. And I love how high rank let me go and enjoy the Wilds. I liked this a lot more than World. #Beat2025

#25 Cruisin World (N64)
I haven't touched this gem since the 90s and it has a bit of a rough start adjustment but it is still an incredible arcade style racing game. #Beat2025

#24 Sabrina the Animated Series: Zapped! (GBC)
A quick Wayforward licensed title that has some truly hideous hitboxes. Also a title that would have been just as fine as a GBA title as they had to hotfix too many abilities to two buttons. #Beat2025

#23 Xenoblade Chronicles (Switch)
What can I really write here? 165 hours to beat the game and the extra story and it is easily a top 10 rpg I've ever played. I have so much passion for this game I have a giant 6k word script analyzing the world lore of this game sitting here. Play this. #Beat2025

#22 Armored Warriors (Arcade)
Ever play Einhander where you can take parts from other ships and transform your shmup experience? This is that concept but in a beat em up style. Beat up your enemies then wear them as trophies and fire insane blasts. Fantastic game. #Beat2025

#21 Battle Circuit (Arcade)
I have to wonder if this was the answer to how do we make a Captain Commando sequel with a ton more mobility. I had never heard of this prior to doing the RA set and I can't recommend this wacky beat em up enough. #Beat2025

#20 Grimace Bday Party (GBC)
This game is extremely short and yet I kinda love it? It's a breeze to play, doesn't try to be overly mean like some platformers get and honestly might be the best McDonalds game now. #Beat2025

#19 Shark Tale (GBA)
Ever wanted to play and underwater beat em up? What about one where you skip most of the game by just swimming around and then the other half of the stages are just rung away. It also has a punch out minigame, strange game, not great. #Beat2025

#18 Dragon Ball Z Sparking! Zero (PS5)
Gorgeous, fun to play like an old ps2 entry and full of characters. I wish what if scenarios were choices, I wish they went a bit more wild with them, and I wish they didn't just cut out large chunks of story for everyone that isn't Goku #Beat2025

#17 Magical Quest 3 (GBA)
It really does lack the excitement of abilities that the first had, a few of the bosses (moth and pirate) are dreadful. The final boss is weirdly absolutely free. It feels like an entry of scrapped ideas from the first two. #Beat2025

#16 Street Fighter 2 (3DO)
A lot of SF2 ports feel a bit icky but this was a really solid well made port. Sometimes they can look ugly, the controls get stiff, or even worse they alter the AI but nope this was good. #Beat2025

#15 The Little Mermaid (NES)
I think when I tried this before I just tried to rush thru it but when you take it slow its a pretty decent game. I still think it is kinda bad that if you die then you will never be able to open most chests. At full power most chests are also empty. #Beat2025

#14 Black Belt Challenge (GBA)
I must have avoided this years ago because I must have thought karate game but its actually a neat little (although easy) fighting game. I enjoyed it, would play more of it for cheevos. #Beat2025

#13 Battle Arena Toshinden (GB)
This handheld adaption focuses really on who can get the other fighter out of the ring faster, you have a meter that goes down like a shield meter and once its drained any hit standing on the edge kills that person. #Beat2025

#12 Mom Hid My Game! 2 (PS4)
Very simple one or two screen puzzler to get your DS like system and avoid mom. It can be extremely creative and downright hilarious at points. Some puzzles repeat from the first game. Overall enjoyed this. #Beat2025

#11 Thank Goodness You're Here (PS4)
This game starts incredibly strong and then it fizzles out pretty fast. The gameplay is bonking everything you can and then going in a quite literal loop around the town solving problems. At times the game is VERY funny and many where it isn't. #Beat2025

#10 Monopoly (PS5)
This is what you expect except it lets you throw a tantrum when you have to pay rent and throw the board. It also has this strange aspect of explore where you fly around a tiny city that gets much larger as you zoom in to find the unloackable tokens. #Beat2025

#9 Dr Mario (GB)
The last two levels took me a whopping five hours. The game itself is already tough the higher you get but then they just flat out give you nothing and auto kill you. At many points my eyes saw black and striped viruses as the same thing. #Beat2025

#8 Panel de Pon (SNES)
The Aotw this week at RA was the Japanese version of Tetris Attack basically. At this point in my life I tetris attack like the best of them, this was an easy and quick victory. Tetris Attack best Tetris. #Beat2025

#7 Donald Duck Goin Quackers (PS2)
This marks the end of the Xmas badge at RA. This was interesting as it was different than the ps1/dc versions I'd played before. I think this flowed better as a game, but I think those games were better at being more unique #Beat2025

#6 Mario Party Superstars (Switch)
I remember a few years ago this dropped and everyone made a big deal of it and it just really feels like another best of collection that feels a bit stale. The changing of bonus stars to super random goals without announcing what kinda is meh. #Beat2025
