This one is distilled in Paxton, IL from regionally grown corn. Don’t know how long it is aged for but I would guess 4 years. It has a driving south on 55 through Central Illinois with the windows down earthy notes.

Along Lake Superior’s Southwestern shore it was rainy in the morning but a wonderful sunset by the evening.

A Walmart in the UP was selling this Maker’s Mark French Oaked. Really strong cherry notes in a good way.

I went to Binny’s hoping to score the store select single barrel 1792. Although the website promised 5 bottles, Binny’s had none😬. I got this single barrel Knob Creek instead. Single barrels just make me feel special!

A Sonoma made whiskey. Wonderful sweet flavors hit your palette followed by the traditional flavors of a rye whiskey. Very smooth and enjoyable as a sipper.
