As expected, the #Rockies have re-signed 34 yr old veteran catcher Jacob Stallings to a 1-yr deal. Stallings had a career year at the plate in '24 and is well respected by the pitching staff for his work behind the dish. Expect him to be the Opening Day starter to mentor Goodman or Romo

As expected, the #Rockies added 2020 first-round pick Zac Veen, who was Rule-5 eligible, to the 40-man roster. Injuries have been an issue the last few years but he managed to get to AAA last season and flashed some success when healthy! Could make his debut in '25

After becoming a minor league free agent, RHP Connor Van Scoyoc has re-signed w/ the #Rockes.
He struggled his first two months in AA but in his final 14 starts allowed just 17 ER, posting a 1.90 ERA in 80.1 IP w/ 48 SO and 17 walks. He's poised for a '25 debut in a deep rotation pool
