Decided to experiment today and use a different sharpie color depending on distance to the viewer. When I showed it to someone they said, “I don’t encourage you doing that, it’s not realistic.” I said that’s not the point. Some people only like black ink I suppose 🥱

Watched a Toby Sketchloose video yesterday. Felt my perfectionism come out when I was mapping out the buildings with watercolor pencil first, but I think it ended up looking pretty good!

I watched 3 tutorials from Sketching Scottie earlier today so I can learn how he breaks down an image. Still doing 1 point perspective for now, but I’m learning a lot when I draw from references.
