I would add “indexing at 1 is fine for most purposes, and makes more sense for data analysis contexts”

(But I also think that <- sucks and feels like a weird accommodation for people who don’t know anything about programming. Also using c() to make a vector instead of [] is annoying)

I’m not sure how prominently twin studies feature in modern instruction but I read a ton about them as an undergrad/phd student. This suggests that a lot of these conclusions may need to be revisited

Using this approach, we find evidence for *both* impulse inhibition and dynamic competition. Notably, however, impulse inhibition occurs much less frequently (in only 26% of successful self-control decisions) and seems to be characteristic of impatient and present-focused individuals
