To be clear, you're categorizing Islamic countries as satanic atheist? So a category you've invented on your own then, rather than following all religious academia that places Christianity, Islam, and Judaism in the same category, "People of the Book", with more similarities than differences.

CoS convinced themselves that they're the only "real" Satanists, throwing out the word "codified" as if there's some Satanic authority ruling on such things. They're just big mad that when folks hear Satanism today they only think of TST, but that's because TST is relevant and CoS is quaint history.

Whoever you're replying to has me blocked, which I consider a win/win. 🤣

No bullets dodged. There are more good, empathetic people in TST congregations than you'll find in some churches. It's good to hear you experienced a real person that represents what The Satanic Temple stands for, not the straw men and chipped shoulder falsehoods peddled by David and Queer Satanic.

I don't know any of these people, I only respond to the persistent trolling of the same tired video any time a good thing is said about TST. The org didn't work for QS - cool. Others who left made new groups and continued building Satanic community - see the CSC for positive action over division.

TST also has local congregations that are doing their own mutual aid activism, public & private events, and the holiday Capitol displays each year. These local groups are what most people encounter - good people doing work that resists Christian dominionism and supports our communities.

Going after the lawyers a group hired, with guilt by association for defense attorneys, sounds very Trumpian considering today's news stories.

Attorney representing a student protester detained by federal immigration agents
Amir Makled sat down with All Things Considered host Juana Summers to describe his experience and what it could mean for other attorneys who are going against the wishes of the Trump administration.

QS posts the same comment and video link hundreds of times anywhere someone dares to make a positive comment about TST. I occasionally reply with my own contradicting good experiences with the group. When you look at the whole history, the personal grudge is clear, and it's not from this direction.

How do you see them being misinterpreted? Sincerely asking, interested in how they're read by different people.
April 12, 2025 at 7:35 AM
You spamming every mention of TST with the same comment and video doesn't remotely mean "most" are agreeing with you. You hear a few reply "Oh, ok" while congregations across the country hear "I'd love to get involved!" We'll keep building community and resistance while you keep trying to tear down.

TLDW: Bitter people who live in the past made an incredibly dull video that has no bearing on the present work of TST and only attempts to sow division between people who should be working together in the shared fight against Christian Dominionism and Fascism.

TST doesn't have a Bluesky account, and no ministers or real members are going to message you about your interest. It's a scam that was rampant on Insta and TikTok, now moved to Bluesky. They eventually ask you for money despite starting out saying "Membership is always free" (which is true).

TST doesn't have a Bluesky account. You blocked a scammer, which is good!
April 12, 2025 at 4:55 AM
Can you give examples of the "disturbing interests" that supposedly "show up in TST’s work repeatedly"?

Also, current congregations will disagree that the structure is "internally authoritarian". They only hear from Salem if someone asks for their assistance. Otherwise they're hands off.
April 12, 2025 at 4:53 AM
That's a scam account, not actually TST. They don't have an account on Bluesky.
April 11, 2025 at 4:05 AM
Bluesky doesn't exactly offer the space to counterpoint a two hour slag of a video in the comment section. We go over it with anyone who asks in our congregation, from the grains of truth to the complete fabrications. And again, we feel it's the work that matters - not the idiosyncrasies of humans.

I support all three of those group's works - the fight against Christian dominionism can use all the voices and diversity, without pointlessly trashing people who are on your side because of a personal grudge. I prefer to focus on the work rather than on the personalities involved.

Your tenets *were* identical to TST until you worried about being sued for copyright violation. Too bad you weren't concerned about originality/forging your own path before the fear of litigation.

The fight against Christian Dominionism can use more voices. Hopefully you have fresh ideas to share.
