i was really hoping i’d get to 1k subscribers on yt before the ban goes into effect - thank you guys 💖 it’s a lot easier to motivate myself to keep making content and x-posting when it feels like some of the community i value is still gonna be around.

so i was today years old when i learned that my brother and i both cook like my grandfather and his grandmother, even though we definitely didn’t learn to cook from him and our mom did things totally differently. which was interesting to discover. genetics are weird.

just a reminder that you should call and thank your reps when they vote how you’d like, not just to complain when they don’t. you don’t want complaints to be all they hear about the votes you’re happy with.

In comparison, a similar bill was brought up before the House earlier this year. There was much less organizing against it and it got further then.
Today’s vote was a very different story. The attention + organizing played a role.
