I also read what someone posted about adding extra to her children's lunches so that they can share with those at school who are in need. When I worked K-12, faculty would do this.

Bingo! The administration refused to tap the Dept. of Agriculture's multi-billion dollar emergency fund that could fund SNAP. They keep using "emergency" for everything EXCEPT to feed the vulnerable- USAID burned up nutritional assistance instead of letting an NGO distribute to starving people.

When I had my first annual physical on Medicare I was given the cognitive test. The nurse gave me three words: sunrise, chair, and orange. She asked me several questions about how I was feeling and then gave me paper to draw a clock indicating 11:10. Then repeat the words. I think AOC's got this!
