Am I the only one who believes Donald will ride in on his white stallion to save the day?
He will also be saying "I didn't authorize that"!

So after the confusion and deception he will go back to normal ... or as things were except for those who took the bail out.

I think it is interesting that Ms Leavitt is referring to the DC swamp when Republicans have majorities in both houses and the executive branch.
At what point will the Republicans drain the swamp? It can't be by firing people helping farmers or the power grids.

Remember when corporate raiders would eye an underperformed company. Then buy up stock. Get control. Sell off assets. Finally, change the retirement plan and cash out.

We are doing that now but at the government level. Remove the gate keepers and watch social security that we paid into vanish.

I think it is telling that Musk is going after the low hanging fruit. Those who just started their careers in the government. Those who are paid the least.
This is not efficiency creating. Merely cost reduction.

If they were for efficiency, they would be looking at programs that are not needed.

The idiocy of equating reduced spending is the same as reduced taxes boggles my mind.
Has Congress taken a math class?

Each time Trump and his proteges put forward a budget, there must be a
economics factor in place.

It hasn't worked for 20 years so maybe it will this time.

It sure is great to see trading partners work together. Much like they did in 1928. And we know what happened then ... don't we?

MAGA better not bitch to me when Trump’s harsh immigration policies drive up their food prices.

At what point will Trump WANT the Pacific states to become part of Canada? I imagine he has a sharpie for that.

We have a thin social mass. When a pebble hits the water a wave is created. Once the wave hits the edge of the container it flows back. The thinner the mass the more the reverberations are.

When the social mass is thick, such as after a world war, society works together. The pebble is consumed.

I think it is time to design a royal sash for Donald. Maybe with lots of shiny pins that dangle as he watches his mighty military parade .

Remember when the House had a deal to keep the government running for 3 months?

How about the bill that didn't make it to the floor after being agreed to in the House and Senate. And that was for national security in the form of border decurity.

Good afternoon. I might be adventurous and watch news in a bit. Or should I keep my sanity?

We saw a parody of "Love Actually" in NYC. It ripped the premise of the movie apart. But I still like the feel good movie.
My Christmas movie hot take is that "A Christmas Story" is maybe my least favorite movie of all time. Absolutely awful, unwatchable senile-ass good-old-days-ass boomer trash.
