His campaign was very pragmatic and worked hard to accommodate people who wouldn't typically support a socialist. He seems to be approaching the office in the same way. I think many people to the left or right who are surprised/disappointed by this had a caricature of him in mind.

With the exception of Andor S1, the whole franchise as been on a pretty steady decline since Disney acquired it. If I consider any of it "good" it's likely because I'm grading it on a curve

It's because he's earned my trust and respect, and I'm confident about where his loyalties lie. Some of these other Dems might want to copy his playbook for doing the same

He's got a city to run, and a lot of eyes are on him as the test case for left municipal governance, so as long as he's not compromising his beliefs (which I don't think he is), anything he can do to keep the feds from interfering is a good thing

The people who try to ape his style the most don't seem to realize the even his original prose gets pretty tedious when it's not edited properly

He was on a great team that did not require him to throw very much, and I think their success made people convince themselves that he's a Winner™

They're all craven toadies, but Lovett's obvious thirst for media prominence probably makes him the most pathetic

Never understood why this one wasn't so well received. It's a ton of fun, looks fantastic, and is very immersive

You know he's cheating on his stat rolls and trying to bring an over-levelled broken homebrew class to the first session

Never before in human history were we this free to have disposable plastic items shipped to our homes!

Yes, but think of all the nonessential consumerist garbage that's available for you to purchase
November 9, 2025 at 4:25 PM
He already moderated himself quite a bit for the campaign. I think it's great that he's not hedging on the platform he ran and won on

The instinct that people have to post some version of "I knew this before you posted it" is so annoying

The NYS Democratic Party contains many officials that would prefer to lose rather than see progressives win
