Absolutely. The women's work is complex and thoughtful. For me, both Varo and Carrington are reading the minds of their subjects. Varo depicts their spirituality. Carrington presents their preferred alternate reality.

I like Leonora Carrington and Remedios Vara. Carrington is a terrific writer, too. Love to know your thoughts on either of those artists.

If you have any local quilt stores, you could try them. They may not have a large selection, but they might have sample books for perusal and ordering. Online quilt shops are my most realistic option.
