I feel like I've figured #tetsuya #nomura out... he is, at heart, the type of writer and character creator who would've really found his calling writing shonen manga for angsty 13 year olds... and he never really had the desire to move past that particular style or demographic.

Maybe there is already a term for it, but looking back on a lot of old art there is often a sort of 'Accidental Brilliance' that came from limitations, either from budget or lack of experience that when projects are remade, sometimes even by the same people, they completely fail to replicate.

Could really use some help on a project.. asking all #ElderScrolls and #Fallout fans. What is THE #Bethesda #RPG, the one that best represents their style and Ethos as a whole. Not necessarily their BEST game, but the most representative.

Currently building a new PC, which will be very helpful for video editing and totally not a means of playing new games with fancy new graphics.
My old PC put in about 8 years of quality service, but it just can't keep up. Goodnight, Sweet Prince.

For fucks sake, we are seriously at a point where companies don't even try to make games that are meant to RUN on current PC and consoles. #Capcom, did you not learn from #dragonsdogma2? The performance of #MonsterHunterWilds is fucking ridiculously bad.

This is like, my 4th attempt to try and play #MassEffect Andromeda and I'm struggling so much to get through it. I think most of the hate is blown out of proportion. It's not an abomination, it's just boring. A bland, boring game, repetitive game.

Fascinating to find out that the rumors of #SkiesofArcadia on GC having a lower encounter rate than the DC original is completely false. Makes me wonder how many other famous 'changes' to games are actually incorrect.

Are there any First Person Dungeon Crawlers or #Blobbers with actually good stories? Tend to bore of them quickly because there is so little to them, and I'd like to change that.

I keep finding that, by and large, I'm just not big on the #3DS library. I love the #NintendoDS library... but as a player of, mostly RPGs, 3DS library just doesn't interest me much outside of the #ShinMegamiTensei games.

I forget how blurry and awful the image quality of the #Nintendo64 is every time I boot it up. It is shockingly bad compared to the #Saturn and #Playstation. I have to assume it looked much better on a CRT.

Also, upon a second playthrough, it is thoroughly 'Fine'.
Would be impressive for an indie team, for a team ran by a 40 year veteran though...? Feels pretty meek.

I'm sort of having my heart crushed replaying #FinalFantasyIX on original hardware... this game's story is beautiful, the underlying equipment and skill system are amazing... but the ATB system is just... broken. It's so slow, and the queuing so long... it's really hard to stomach.
