Het gebrek aan visie is opnieuw schrijnend. De voetgangerszone had veel potentieel, maar is gaandeweg volgeperst met overmaatse horecaterassen van vaak bedenkelijke kwaliteit, zodat er nu enkel nog de middenstrook overschiet voor voetgangers en fietsers. Op die manier creëer je uiteraard conflict.
