I was done with my callas, I dug them up and gave them to my neighbor. They have laughed in my face and come back even stronger. 🤷🏽 Apparently not done.

I have one podcast under my belt, but I don’t need honey. Just let native bees do what they do and humans can eat other things.

The conclusion from the podcast was quite opposite and they asserted that hobbyists don’t have the resources to keep their hives from being overtaken by Africanized bees who are increasingly aggressive.This appears to be a public safety issue in the Southwest.

After listening to the November 15th episode of “Crime Pays but Botany Doesn’t” about Apis mellifera I’m starting to think that bee keeping is not such a great thing and maybe you’re really damaging our native pollinators. Not being mean, just ecological.

That’s too pretty for flowers.That thing deserves a dwarf conifer of some type. Maybe a Thuja occidentalis “Fire Chief?”
