Any of you 3d printer boys going to wade through all the new Bambu copies by major companies and give us (the plebs) some sort of definitive idea on where they are, I mean Elgoo, Creality and anycubic have all got cheaper than bambu printers in the same range now..

Right 3d printing gurus I have bought a filament dryer because I was convinced I was having extrusion issues down to damp filament, its here and working however I am unsure for instance what % humidity silk PLA should be before I stop drying it ? after a full day at 50 c its still 27% humid in there

so my A1 had the blob of death, which seems to have taken out my 0.2 nozzle and my Hotend Heating Assembly I put a technical ticket into @bambulabglobal.bsky.social but no response so I guess ill have to hope its 100% that and a new one fixes it or I have a quite largy fancy paperweight

So tried doing the 0.2 MM nozzle with the high quality and the model is excellent, trouble is supports are welded on, not sure what the 0.4mm top z layer height 0.275 hack is for 0.2 mm nozzle, anyone know ?

I'm so bored gaming wise, I really dislike the direction deadlock has gone in, ARK Survival ascended (official) has turned into the same shit fest ARK SE was just on ue5 and with 1/3 of the players, overwatch 2 is infuriating to play, burned out on Rust. Marvel Rivals is fun but shallow game..

So I have spent the last 2 weeks running my A1 and Sv06 constantly preparing for my first craft fair and due to extreme weather it's been called off. Less than 24 hours before it.

if you buy the bambu super tack plate, don't use Silk PLA that has a bunch of supports on it, holy shit it just took me 20 mins to get all that off the plate

So I have been using my sv06 to supplement my a1 at this very busy time of year and I often forget just how solid a printer is is obviously being a prusa clone but the quality is still awesome.

I am a very very small business when it comes to 3d printing, so getting commissioned to do some custom horns for a Shrek musical is kind of cool I wont lie. Never thought me dicking about enjoying #3dprinting would end up having people actually ask me to buy stuff.

I started selling 3d prints because people I was giving stuff were like "you should sell these" and now im already overwhelmed with orders (not a complaint) and eyeing up a p1p
