Going forward anytime a reporter asks a Democrat about the house passing the big bullshit bill, uniformly, the answer must start with saying the Republicans are the ones that passed the bill. Do. Not. Let. Republicans. Get. Away. With. It.

I've had a hard time recently with an old friend who's a conservative and a trump supporter. He doesn't understand why I'm angry with him and why our political differences should affect our friendship. He doesn't understand agreeing to disagree isn't an option anymore.

I want to share something and I would love to hear from others on this. This last week has brought up a very real sense that our country is becoming a fascist state. The last debris of any post war America is being washed away. Any America that I've known at least.

We have a new president. He's an adjudicated rapist and a convicted felon and skated on a substantive case of inciting insurrection. We've fulfilled the destiny of our national karma and I can only hope we will find a way onto a better path after these next 4 years.

This holiday season I hope all my fellow liberals, progressives, leftists enjoy time with family and friends. It's important to savor this time as the last bit of calm before the tsunami of lies, propaganda division and hate take us over for the next 4 years. Merry Merry everyone!

One of the very few positives of the social media democratization of the news that has been a big reason for our disinformed and angry polarized public is people like David Brooks and Bill Kristol are finally marginalized to the bin of unimportant always wrong old white guys.
