The Approach Tavern near Victoria Park is my favourite.

The Victoria is a curious little number. Haven’t been there in a while but it does a decent job of being a ‘party pub’, ‘gastropub’ and ‘old fashioned boozer’ all wrapped into one.

I’m rereading War and Peace after a decade.

Incredibly the BBC adapted it a few years back into an 8 episode series - and it’s actually pretty good!

I was just there.

Much of Central London is a ghost town. Not Stratford Westfield. It was, as always, absolute mayhem.

Always entertaining. Always informative.

The other day I even learnt that Susan Boyle did a cover of Wild Horses. (And its not that bad to be fair to her)
