Congratulations, council member!

That is a County Road, Mr. mayor. What did you have to do with it?
November 1, 2025 at 4:57 PM
That's nice, how about some ACTUAL reform?
October 27, 2025 at 10:07 PM
And the only arrest out of the whole thing was an immigration arrest. Your people said it was about drugs and trafficking. Yet another lie.
October 24, 2025 at 9:01 PM
Like you stood up for them when ICE was on Lake St.?

And don't lie to us again when your police chief is getting 'thank you' letters from them for his (and therefore your) role in protecting them.

He's going to tap his donor base before his campaign for governor gets off the ground.

You forgot about blocking access to the Greenway for the two most densely populated neighborhoods in the city! Suck leadership! (Autocorrect stays, fits better.)
October 21, 2025 at 11:02 PM
Where was your MPD when the Mosque on 31st street was being attacked? The precinct building is literally a block away and they couldn't be bothered to respond, despite the arson they faced the week before?

Respect all faith communities, don't just pick and choose the ones you like.
October 20, 2025 at 7:25 PM
Maybe the city would have more money if you stopped wasting our tax dollars. Tell your MPD to cooperate with the city auditor, who you already cut funds to.

Auditor: Cost more than doubling for outside help reviewing high-profile cases, MPD not cooperating
Timmerman said the contract they're in with a law firm will now likely cost $200,000, far from the $90,000 he originally thought it was going to be.

How come there are so many empty storefronts between 28th and 31st on Hennepin where construction has been done for quite awhile? That was a much more vibrant neighborhood 8 years ago. What policies would you change since it worked out so poorly the first two chances we gave you?
October 19, 2025 at 4:02 PM
That's nice. Possibly helpful.

But what about diverting your police force away from moving homeless people from place to place and have them enforce traffic laws.

Traffic deaths and major injuries have doubled since you took office. Four speed cameras and streetlights is a dumb answer.
October 17, 2025 at 3:28 PM
If only...but fences and cops are the only answer to all the city's problems.
October 8, 2025 at 10:12 PM
Fatal crashes are up significantly since you took office and cameras are the best you can come up with?
October 6, 2025 at 10:37 PM
Too little, too late. After seven years in office this is the best you can come up with? Have you tried asking your constituents about what would make the streets safer?

Five or six cameras in fixed locations is just dumb. 'Okay, I'll allow down for this half a block.'

Seriously, do better.
October 6, 2025 at 10:26 PM
Like this isn't even the bare minimum you could do for traffic safety in the city. The amount of traffic violations, including watching the big black SUV you drive around in go 15 MPH over the posted limit, is just astounding that you think the answer is a few cameras. Be better.
October 4, 2025 at 1:33 PM
That's nice and all, but why are the two most densely populated neighborhoods the city being denied access to the Greenway by one of the numerous Frey Fences? Four cameras do nothing to protect pedestrian and bike citizens that are being pushed onto streets clogged with construction/traffic.
October 3, 2025 at 10:34 PM
In the last 7 years your administration has paid out over twice as much of our tax dollars for police misconduct than the previous 25 years put together.

What are you doing to prevent these new officers from further exacerbating these issues?
September 30, 2025 at 8:16 PM
The Nicollet entrance is blocked as well so there is no access between Bryant and 5th.

There is also a Frey Fence blocking the path from Franklin to the Hiawatha path too. And Frey Fences blocking the sidewalks at 31st and Stevens as well as Franklin by the Transit station.
