Sport Tours International, Inc. - St. Louis Cardinals, Dallas Cowboys and some other stuff mixed in. Opinions my own and often times very bad.
I wish I shared your optimism. I know guys can improve (obviously) but he was a really bad starter in the minors and he's 28 years old already. I don't see how his stuff plays more than one time through the lineup. But obviously it's worth taking a look at considering where the team is right now.

Yes. And this is where the Dems need to hit hard on the campaign trail. The GOP are learning from actual humans that ACA, while not perfect, is important to a lot of people. The GOP have no plan.

Furloughed and non paid government workers don’t use ACA. All of this sucks but elections have consequences. The Dems need to win and then get shit done.

I agree.

The point was to end the shutdown and allow for SNAP benefits to be paid to people who need them. It allowed for furloughed people to work and get paid. It allowed people like my brother who has been working and not being paid to finally get a paycheck. Those people matter.

They aren’t taking healthcare from 40 million Americans. I don’t like what’s going on but there are people hurting now. I’m not going to dismiss them.

Every one of them have constituents who were suffering.

After watching that I'm not sure what could have been done to keep them in Montreal. They clearly needed a new stadium and had to find an owner willing to pony up to pay for all of it.

Awesome stuff John.

There is a whole lot of cope coming from the right. Trying to wishcast failure on NYC. They are scared to death in reality.

I've never seen much in Roycroft and he's 28 years old. Seems like those guys are a dime a dozen. I also like Fermin more than Prieto (age, can run, bats RH) but I would guess one stays and one goes.

My predictions - since you didn't ask: Alcala, King, Raquet, Thompson, Veneziano, Pozo, Roycroft, Prieto, Koperniak and Siani will be 40 man casualties.

No one can tell Jerry the truth or they are out of the will.
November 4, 2025 at 4:31 AM
As long as Jerry is alive they have no chance.

My 17 year old step daughter was locked in the last three innings. Of course she thinks the strike zone box is something the players and umps see but so what 😀

Good thing they took Bichette out of the game for him.
November 2, 2025 at 5:09 AM
Yes but they will be gritty and be awesome bunters and can slap the ball to the right side occasionally!!
November 2, 2025 at 4:54 AM
I just hate maybe playing extras with his bat out of the lineup.
November 2, 2025 at 3:31 AM
Thoughts on pinch running for Bichette?

D1 league masquerading as D3 and kicking everyone’s ass along the way.

I agree with you. I think too many Dems shrug and say "there is nothing we can do because voters agree." Not at all true - rarely are they very informed. Especially less "online" people.
October 30, 2025 at 9:38 PM
It is possible that this could be true and be a bad thing to do. Acting like "our side" is perfect isn't realistic.
