🏆Aaron Vere won the Allied Health Professional of the Year. Aaron has been instrumental in developing tailored pain management plans and introducing theatre plans to ensure modified release opioids were not routinely used in the treatment of acute pain - two years ahead of national guidelines.

🏆Becky Cantrell, Nurse Consultant and Nursing Lead for the Acute Pain Team, won the Nurse of the Year title in recognition of her visionary leadership. This included the rollout of an ultra-accessible ‘Pain Bites’ training initiative and advancing acute pain awareness throughout the Trust
