I run different initiatives around STG/shmups/Shoot 'em ups, trying to consolidate communities and help gamedevs, publishers, content creators and shmup fans.
I agree the game is a hidden gem (although it's an overblown term nowadays), especially so for fans of games such as Ys. At the same time, we cannot ignore Shigatake in his role of graphic refinement. The publisher did a king move in China, many things to learn from this game.
