It depends on the kid. My youngest is very open and expressive with her feelings and definitely tells us when she's scared. My oldest? Not so much.

If you’re in person also have something like fidgets or coloring sheets available to entertain players while they wait for their turn.

Attention spans are a finite resource and one antsy kid will become two or three. It can derail the whole thing.

I run a monthly game with kids (6 at a time) ranging from 6-10.

Keep things short and simple. My games are usually only an hour long and tend to center around one primary problem or encounter.

“The village wants the giant to stop eating their sheep.”

Keep things moving at all costs!

At this point though, all we can do is wait and see. And hope that people aren’t gullible enough to believe it if whatever’s released are obviously doctored. And yes, it probably will be obvious.

Agreed! I have a box full of dollar store dragons that looks just as nice as an expensive mini once they’re painted.

(Love your products, btw. 😉)

I did also consider mixing up resin with paint to give it some pooling green venomous drool, but ultimately decided that would be a bit much.

So what I did was buy a cheap spider toy from an evil corporation and paint it up in the style of smaller “giant” spiders I did a few years back. Very happy with how my “Queen Spider” turned out.

(Finished spider on the left with a smaller coworker. Original on right)
