Don't believe what you're told. Read more than one source. Include a source that makes you uncomfortable to allow empathy. Learn and make friends with people who don't share your views. Don't be proud to call them enemies or point out their errors.

Until we relearn how to debate, negotiate, empathise and give ground, we're lost, but there's a generation growing up who've never been taught how to, thanks to targeted messaging on social media.
