I said exactly the same the other day. McSweeney is a fucking liability at this stage. When I look at the clip of Gordon Brown (texture like sun) listing achievements, I despair of where Labour are right now. It’ll be a one-term party followed by Farage if they don’t grow a pair and change course!

I may be wrong, but I feel Starmer needs to separate himself from McSweeney. The strategy seems to be in perpetual campaign mode, trying to ‘out-reform’ Reform. I doubt at the end of the parliament he will be able to list achievements like Brown did.

Sadly I don’t recognise this party at all. They can’t out-Farage Farage, but that won’t stop them trying. McSweeny needs to realise that they can’t stay in campaign mode permanently and that people need decent, dependable, moral government. Such a crushing disappointment. It’s just all shit 😞
