The truth is out there, or so they say. Was anonymous in another place, not here, ish.
Lots of rot talked about this imo. Certainly some children have left the private sector or gone to cheaper schools and that process
Is continuing. Some children not starting due to extra cost but the money saved probably spent on a holiday so still included VAT just in a different sector.

Overall school rolls declining. State taking a higher share. Impact on private schools not yet worked through into closures or redundancies. Some of tax take will not be additional as from spend transferred from other discretionary (tax yielding) expenditure. Not sure if this was predicted

I think you would have had to have your head in a bucket to not know that ISIS were engaging in some horrific murders, which puts it on a substantially different level than sneaking behind the bike shed for a joint, having risky sex or some of the other dubious decisions teens make.

Yes. Unless they already lost it.

Ah it’s Reform. Nuff said.

Surely they can’t say that Scots in England won’t get the same level of benefit as the English in England. I feel the SNP may benefit from that as a policy.
November 25, 2025 at 8:04 PM
Well benefits are devolved in Scotland where I am, but any payments are made irrespective of whether you are English, Welsh, Irish or Scottish. But maybe yon Westminster peeps have different plans for the residents of Englandshire

Please leave me alone.

Well this is just a lovely trip down memory lane to the bad old days of Twitter. People being rude and condescending to this with different views.

When you say immigration, do you include asylum seekers and illegal immigrants which are a completely separate category to planned migrants- students, people who come for jobs etc. when you mix them up I get confused what you want.
November 19, 2025 at 3:24 PM
Let anyone in isn’t going to solve the problem.
November 19, 2025 at 3:16 PM
Ok. Your solution is….
November 19, 2025 at 3:12 PM
Be gone with the insults. I am merely pointing out that something needs to be done about illegal immigration as the current approach is leading to ordinary people losing patience with the government and turning to radical alternatives - Farage…..
November 19, 2025 at 3:04 PM
Your not convincing me. Or anyone else I guess. But carry on doing the same thing and expecting a different result.
November 19, 2025 at 2:57 PM
You loaded the question, or I thought you did. Of course it is.
November 18, 2025 at 7:27 PM
….debate rages on and paralyses every other issue that needs sorting out, and I have no idea why they thought adding on the theft of valuables was a good idea, but that’s political analysts for you.
November 18, 2025 at 7:26 PM
Which is why a sensible but stricter approach is right. Or maybe just get on with the current approach including deporting those who are economic migrants with no other reason to be here. But govt needs to do something, or the debate will rage. Personally I think Denmark is a reasonable start…..

It’s not racist to be scared of crime and criminality. Accusing someone of racism because they disagree with you isn’t a winning argument
November 18, 2025 at 7:20 PM
I think Rhiannon Whyte’s family may disagree.
