A lack of self love equates to self hatred, and that’s why we are seeing a lot of humans doing awful things. Knowing this truth doesn’t make any of it less frustrating or scary though.

There’s so much to say on this! For starters, you cannot truly love another until you love yourself. And when you truly love yourself, you don’t need external validation whether it’s from another human or from obtaining material things/being “successful”.
