Wow. Caroline Kennedy breaks her silence on RFK Jr in a message to Senators: “We grew up together. It’s no surprise that he keeps birds of prey as pets because Bobby himself is a predator. He enjoyed showing off by putting baby chickens & mice in a blender to feed to his hawks.”

This is such a great step forward
Yesterday, Greater Manchester approved free travel passes for young people who have experienced care up until the age of 25.

Through devolution, important progressive steps continue to be made.

There's public support for assisted dying so it may have happened sooner or later. But if it happens now I think Kim Leadbeater will be able to claim much personal credit. A less able, sympathetic and effective champion could easily have put off 30 or so wavering MPs. She'll have a place in history.

Kemi Badenoch says "Brexit isn't working". Then uses that fact to argue visas should be restricted to "those who will make a substantial and clear overall contribution".

BTW, immigrants contribute £78K more on average to the public purse than they take out in their lifetime.
Badenoch suggests Brexit is not working as Tory leader says party ‘did not deliver’
‘It is time for a new approach’, the Tory leader told a Westminster press conference

Kim Leadbeater making extremely powerful speech opening the Assisted Dying debate.

Perhaps consciously echoes language around abortion rights.

Closes by saying: "The right to choose does not take away the right not to choose."

If what you care about is just agricultural property, 84% of claims for relief are for less than £1.5m (which realistically is the minimum you'd have to have in assets including a farm before you start paying any tax). 96% are less than the £3m couples will still pass on tax free

If you bring central London to a halt in order to campaign against catastrophic climate change then you're a "barmy" eco "fanatic" who deserves to be locked up.

If you do the same to hang on to your multimillion pound inheritance tax exemption then you're a brave freedom fighter defying the odds
