Enjoyed my weekly dj sessions this summer at the Fifth Quarter. Paul st looking much better with the seating outside & with more traders inside (more to come inc food court); hopefully new tenants too in former collins bookshop & the pub now vacant too (linen weaver). #potential

My @thisisthenewschool series in @corkcitylibraries has come to end for the summer but I’d like to thank Margaret, Ben & the team for hosting us every month. We are back on September 27th. As always, music is a two way street and I am learning from the youngsters too.

Cork gig goers will have been very familiar with the reggae toaster & MC, who performed with numerous bands and soundsystems here. Used MC for me in the back bar in the 90s he later joined myself & Bellyman in Expansions

Sad to learn of the passing of Siobhan O’Dowd, a great contributor to Cork who was unbelievably active in the community for decades & always full of good humour and encouragement too. Here she is taking over my decks at the Rainbow Picnic a few summers ago 🏳️🌈
